Michael Majors featured artist at The Wiley Art Center

October 13, 2014

Bloomington, IN– TASUS graphic designer Michael Majors is the featured artist at The Wiley Art Center this month. Majors has nearly fifty pieces on display throughout the gallery, half consisting of various hand drawn pieces and half consisting of handmade leather goods.

The Wiley Art Center began as the house to famous artist William T. Wiley. It was relocated and revitalized into a public art gallery in downtown Bedford, Indiana. The Wiley Art Center allows local artists to display their work for public viewing. Since Majors has been old enough to hold a pencil, he has been displaying his creativity by drawing from his imagination. He works in various media including: graphite, pen & ink, soft pastel, marker, acrylic, watercolor and most recently oil painting. His philosophy includes the idea that art is the root of all design and that creating art of his own makes him a more creative professional.

If you are interested in viewing Michael Majors or other local artists’ work you can visit the Wiley Art Center Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 6 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Majors will have his artwork featured until October 18th.
