TASUS Opens its Doors to Local Highschool

January 30, 2017

Bloomington, IN- On January 26th, TASUS opened its doors to Owen Valley High School Students to give them a peak into the world of advanced manufacturing. The students themselves are involved in OV’s underwater robotics team “Sea Perch”, FIRST Robotics, or are currently taking engineering classes.

The day kicked off with students touring the facility. Then a presentation was given to students about TASUS’s history, products, company culture, as well as what it is like within the Automation Department.

The students had wonderful questions, the day wrapped up with lunch and time for students and staff to hangout! TASUS loves to be able to do events such as these to connect with the community and educate on what TASUS does.

Thanks to everyone in the plant as well as those who helped behind the scenes. Events such as these are not achievable without everyone’s help.

A special thanks to those individuals who took time out of their day to help with the visit: Jason Flinn, Tyler Blackburn, Brett Wagnon, Zoul Ballman, Michael Majors, Greg Stantz, and Mike Schab.
