Florence, AL: Melanie Hart, President and CEO of Tsuchiya Group North America and the TASUS companies has been invited to speak at the October 24th Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) conference in Birmingham Alabama. Melanie will be joined by Hon. Robert Bentley; Governor of the State of Alabama, Tom Shoupe; President of Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, and Mark Brazeal, General Manager, Toyota Manufacturing, Alabama Inc. to present and share in thought of trends and challenges in the automotive supply chain. This conference embraces the meaning of Mono-zukuri; having the spirit to produce excellent products and the ability to constantly improve a production system and process. With this Philosophy in mind, the conference is hopeful of facilitating a better understanding and collaboration between Japanese and North American Automotive supplier communities.
